I can no longer read any posts in the app because most things stopped working with voiceover in this version.

I had this app for about 2 months and whenever I put a yak on there all I got was negative comments. This app has no meaning to it and nothing good comes out of it. If your looking for something to have fun on I totally wouldnt recommend this app.

Its a new feature yes, but all the crashing is getting annoying.

Just reinstalled after being off for a few months. Really enjoyed the app when everything was "anonymous." Came back to find there are handles and a chat option? YY used to fulfill a really fun and unique niche, but now its trying too hard to be like Snapchat and Twitter. If I wanted that, Id just install Snapchat and Twitter.

Its very broken in nature, not a fan of the lack of exit buttons or a way to just leave a comment.

Stop with the handles, stop with the annoying event notifications that nobody cares about. Thanks

Let people change their herd. I accidentally set it to the wrong thing and now I cant change it.

I actually despise the new notifications so much. I literally am incapable of caring any less whats "trending" on YikYak, or how many "gems are in [my] Hot posts today!" If Im gonna get notifications, theyd better be because I got a reply or likes. These new notifications are just as bad as Facebook game invites. Its really made the app annoying for me, at best.

to bring us the new redesign theyve done away with the left-handed voting system. as a person with a larger screen size who happens to be left handed this is terrible. the ergonomics are off and its not as easy to use. edit: Ive been on for over 2 years now and Ive never been banned. I say pretty controversial stuff sometimes so im inclined to think the people complaining here are bitter that their outlook and opinions arent shared by others. most people are fine but if you get a group of 5 malicious people together they call. wreak havoc on the feed

Its a good little time waster, I enjoy checking in every now and then and just seeing whats up!

Does Yik Yak not have mods? Or are the users the moderators? I see yaks that break the rules and someone insulted me very rudely because they apparently didnt think my content met theyre standards. Please add full time moderators or something. This could become a hot spot for cyber bullying real quick.

I overall really like this app. I love the fact that I can peek into other schools and how anonymous this all is. I also really enjoy that I can reply to posts. There are just a couple problems though: the fact that handles cant be changed; and for someone like me, that has transferred schools, I would like to be able to reply to the yaks in my current school.

Dont use this app unless you enjoy the mods censoring your opinion unless it fits the Bernie, socialist agenda.

This is a fun app and is a great way to find out whats going on on campus, but there needs to be a way to unsubscribe from getting notifications of Yaks one has commented on. Also, one should be able to change the handle being off by default instead of being on by default.

The moderation on this app goes way too far, as many other people have pointed out. The self-moderation feature that Yik Yak used to have was great, where abusive posts were deleted after five downvotes. But the moderators have ruined it.

This app is absolutely horrible. I never and I mean never write a review. But this app is seriously the dumbest thing Ive ever seen. All it is a good way for bullying to occur in towns where colleges dont exist but high schools do. Thats all this app is used for and its 99% bullying. I wish that this app would get banned or unavailable in my area. Causes another reason for teenagers to fight a bully they might have never known they even had.

Removes anonymity and if they MUST be a thing (they shouldnt) then they should be off by default instead of having to turn it off with each post

This app has been on a continuous downward spiral over the past year. Whoever is in charge of this dumpster fire has no idea how to run a business. No, we do not want the handles that we have currently. We want the old school handles that enhanced our Yaks comedically. WE DO NOT WANT THE CHAT FEATURE! HOW DO YOU NOT SEE THE PROBLEMS IT WILL CAUSE?!? This app is overrun by bigots and morons who operate on a middle school level so I have no idea how theyll handle themselves. I dont think this app will remain on my phone for much longer. I also like the longhorn yak better.

The handles are still here, please either remove them, or give us the option to turn them off permanently. I thought this was supposed to be an anonymous app, how did you guys ruin such an awesome app? And the chat thing also ruins the animosity, we should at least be able to chat to others without exposing handles, remove handles all together.
