App crashes every time I open it. I have an iPhone 6s with iOS 9.3.1!! This shouldnt be happening

With the recent update, half the time I try to open the app, it crashes. When it does actually open, its empty of yaks, which is not a location thing considering that I am at Penn State.

Yik Yak can do without the handles, but it is a great way to communicate with others in my college town.

New chat feature is cool but every time I get any notification a banner across the top tells me, which then makes the app crash almost every time

Mandatory handles have ruined this "anonymous" app. Goodbye yik yak, you will never be the same again.

This new update doesnt work? I cant write anything when I try and post.

Handles are fantastic! Still a small glitch where a notification doesnt un-highlight after you view it, but no big deal. Chat, while not used much, saves the trouble of putting snapchat usernames up. Bring back the longhorn yak!!!!!

New update= automatic crash. App has been on a steady decline for months. Not impressed. Frequently doesnt load yaks now just crashes. Solution to not loading- delete the app and redownload, and then they are working on it... In other words... No real fix. Sigh.

Yik yak keeps adding new features but doesnt even bother finding out if the app can handle the new features or not. This app used to be great but for months has had trouble loading and now with this update wont even open. Not impressed.

I love the app, but it wont open. I click on it and it flashes and immediately closes.

So yy is telling me to create a handle... When i go to my stuff it has my handle on top of my posts, but its having me create a new handle, and i cant use my old one. What the heck is going on?
