This app really lets people speak out their ideas and thoughts as well as meet new people anonymously and help others with any problem they may have. While some users can be jokers many are helpful and are willing to share their personal experiences and such to help others with whatever problems they may have. And its also great to share a few laughs

Love this app, super addicting. But whats up with the notifications? I love getting them but when I do I cant delete them from my notifications list on my phone! Idn if its a problem with the app or my phone, but either way its super annoying. Please fix if you can!

Creating handles has taken the fun out of the app. The fun of yik yak has always been the anonymity and by being forced to make a handle it has taken it away. Handles were the worst mistake.

The number one place, to get cyber bullied. I wish this app wasnt invented, because of all the cyber bullying its causing. Its a shame. Doesnt matter who you are, once your name is mentioned, it wont stop. Even if you dont socialize with other people.

It is now impossible to disable your handle. (Not just me, everyone in my area has this problem) Anonymity is gone, Im deleting this app.

Honestly, this app was the best think ever before handles. I go to a university that is known for its close relationships between students. Yak helped bring that together by helping others we didnt know and being able to express our views and opinions without being judged. Saved many from loneliness and despair. Until handles came out, people were afraid to voice their concerns due to cyber bullying and such. Disappointed in the developers and staff. Our campus is not as close as it once was. Ruined it TBH.

App crashes upon opening on iPhone 6 Plus since latest update.

I love Yik Yak but theres a couple problems with this update. The app crashes sometimes when loading a notification or refreshing the feed and when Im commenting, I can only see one line of text and I cannot see the rest of the text that Im writing, so I have been making spelling mistakes. I just want to help fix it.

that want to get girls, if youre into watching them get shot down, this is the app for you!

The yak community in Toronto is down to like 7-10 cyberbullying trolls that just copy posts from Reddit/Twitter/Tumblr, claiming theyre their own. Its not anonymous anymore or limited to university students so its just a crap social network that wants to sell your phone number. Hard Pass.
