I find this app shouldnt be mad anon because there is a lot of cyber bulking created because people misuse this app. In some places, like mine, there is to much cyber bullying that you cant report it all.

Great way to keep up with the community, is most fun around colleges

Decent app and love the down vote option. Next option it needs is an unfollow feed/stop notifications on feeds I no longer care about

With the addition of this app to our campus, weve had a number of cyberbullying cases, suicide ideation confessions, inappropriate sexual comments toward other students and/or employees and teams tearing down each other. It truly comes down to how a community wants to use this app... It could be great and positive or it could be like ours.

Isnt life changing but does provide a few minutes of distraction when desired

Even the best random acts of kindness cant make up for the horrible nasty remarks people can make when they can hide behind a mask. Delete this garbage waste of time app ASAP.

The app keeps deleting my posts without telling me why. App is only for lonely guys looking for girls.

Pretty cool app using location is great way to view posts. Wish there was a way to have the option to keep the Handle off when you make posts tho

The activities they have like "news of the week" are fun. The app generally works well when theyre not trying to do dumb things like start a web version. The nicknames... Meh. I never post with them. Its an annoying extra button to keep my privacy.

App is hardly usable. Even with a stable internet connection (I can play online games/instant searches etc) Yik yak constantly times out and freezes. Very poor quality made app, cool concept though.

The ability to mute(block) users and the use of handles(screen names) takes all the fun out this app. Combine that with the heavy censoring of randomly non-offensive words, and theres no fun left to be had. This app is transforming into a kik/twitter/Facebook hybrid clone, instead of being the anonymous location-based chat app that once upon a time ago made it hilariously fun to use.

It would be great if we could reset our heard. Ill be going to a different college next fall and my herd will be 4 hours away than my hour college. So I have to uninstall app until that change is possible.

Biggest complaint is that the handle should not automatically be on. If I want to comment on an argument anonymously and its always on I worry Ill comment it and the person will remember. Maybe have an option to automatically be on or off. Also being able to comment a picture would be cool.

But the developers keep messing with a good thing by taking away what makes the app great: anonymity. One of the best improvements, however, was introducing ways to report offensive or dangerous messages.

Its a waste of time I got reported for a lemon emoji -_- yep a lemon emoji . And now that they have updated by using your handle now the person can target you and keep reporting you even if you arent doing anything . They have bad customer service they dont respond or listen to your side of the story . Your account just going to be taken away so whats the point . They suspended me for saying I spam when literally I was just writing different post using a lemon emoji and it somehow got someone annoyed and they kept reporting me by finding my handle . Its a waste of your time
